The session is designed for Malaysian companies evaluating new production footprints, co-manufacturing, regional distribution, industrial supply opportunities or expansion toward Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia.

The format is deliberately focused on qualified companies and senior decision-makers so discussions can move from awareness to project fit, follow-up meetings and potential commercial collaboration.

It gives me great pleasure to invite distinguished Malaysian business leaders, manufacturers, investors and exporters to join us for a special engagement with the Alat Free Economic Zone Authority (AFEZ) in Kuala Lumpur.

Azerbaijan has long occupied a strategic position between Europe and Asia. Through AFEZ, we are transforming this geographical advantage into a competitive platform for international manufacturing, investment and trade — designed specifically for high-value-added and export-oriented industries.

Located near the Baku International Sea Trade Port and connected to major East–West and North–South transport corridors, AFEZ combines strategic connectivity with a distinctive legal and regulatory framework, competitive fiscal and customs incentives, modern industrial infrastructure and an investor-centric approach to establishing and growing businesses.

Our objective is not simply to provide industrial land or facilities. We seek long-term partnerships with companies that want to manufacture, innovate, export and expand internationally.

Malaysia has built strong capabilities across electrical and electronics, food and halal products, machinery and equipment, chemicals, medical devices, automotive components, renewable-energy technologies, building materials and other internationally competitive sectors. We see significant potential for Malaysian companies to explore AFEZ for manufacturing and assembly, co-manufacturing partnerships, regional production and distribution, supply-chain diversification and export-oriented investment.

I therefore warmly invite Malaysia’s leading chambers of commerce, business associations and industry organisations to nominate three to five established member companies with genuine interest in international manufacturing, investment, exports, industrial collaboration or regional expansion to participate in this focused Hi-Tea engagement.

This session is intended to move beyond awareness. We want to understand the international expansion needs of Malaysian companies, discuss potential projects directly and identify where AFEZ may provide a competitive platform for their next stage of growth.
